Leaving Town Square
After Vinny met with Judge Chamberlain for the first time in his chambers, Vinny and Lisa leave the town square to find a place to stay. If you take a look at the road signs in both photos you will notice that everything looks fairly similar except for the black and white state-shaped highway shields. Since the movie is set in Alabama the film crew created fictional U.S. routes highway shields for the scene. However, there are several scenes throughout the movie when we can see a Georgia state-shaped highway shield instead.
