My Cousin Vinny: Then and Now 20th Anniversary

The second location can be seen in the opening credits as well. It’s a road sign shown briefly as the camera gives us a tour of the scenery as Bill and Stan head to the Sac-O-Suds. This is such a short scene, if you blink you will miss it for sure, but keep your eyes open for the “Horse Manure For Sale” sign as the boys are driving through the back roads.

Nonetheless, here is something I noticed when we found this location. During the opening credits we can see Bill and Stan first drive by Nolan Store Rd. and then a few seconds later they pass the logging truck as they close in on the aforementioned white house. The problem here is that it’s impossible to pass Nolan Store Rd. on the right side of the road first and then the white house second. Hence, the scenes were filmed out of order. While this is common practice in movieland, it is neat to catch these little film edits. Lastly, the actual name of the road is “Nolan Store Rd.” – singular, but there must have been a sign error 20 years ago because in the movie it reads “Nolan’s Store Rd.” – plural.
